Well, there's something to be said for preparation.  The Obama supporters were up at the North end of the school and never even figured out he was coming from the South side.  A few managed to get the picture, but most chanted si se puede on the opposite side of the action.  Enough said.

Post pictures please!

I really hope you get a great turn out, like Tennessee.

I wish I was there, no car today though.

Good luck patriots! GO GET 'EM!

We have been given clearance to stand on any public sidewalk.  I will be back down there in an hour.  We will line the West side of 32nd St.  It is not raining there.  Park in the neighborhood on the East side of 32nd and walk over.  People are already starting to show up.  I will be going back around 9:30.  See you there!

All I could confirm was that the speech will be at 12:45 PM.  The ideal place to stand is on Liberty Ln and 32nd, lining 32nd all the way to Frye.  I didn't get a hold of the Phoenix PD, who could have told us where we are able to stand.  I will get there as soon as I can in the morning, and then issue an advisory as soon as I have one.  Hope to see everyone in the morning!

Students are being advised to park at Pecos Park on Tuesday. Buses will be transporting students from the park to school beginning at 6:45 a.m. Teachers will need to park at the Church of Latter Day Saints located behind the school, off Frye Road.

This is our first event.  Anymore updates on where we'll likely get to stand?  Where/when is lunch, mentioned above?

Patty Jahner has pointed out that there is a Foothills Market Center on 32nd and Chandler Blvd, to the North.  You can park there and walk down to the HS.  Also, there is a Fry's at 40th and Chandler Blvd if there isn't enough parking.  I can bring my truck and shuttle folks if necessary.

Update:  We have gone and scoped out the area yesterday.  Ironically, the two cross streets of the High School are "Liberty Ln" and "Frye Rd."  If the entourage comes from the 202, they will enter the area from the South and pass Liberty Ln, a prime corner where we would like to be.  However, if they take the back roads and go through the neighborhoods like they did in Chandler, then they will approach from the North and turn west onto Frye Rd.

The auditorium has two main entrances, one on the front of the school, and the other entrance leads him into the auditorium in the back.  This is interesting because Frye Rd leads right up to a parking lot that they could go into that is away from the crowds and then walk him right into the auditorium.  I believe this is the most likely scenario, however if they wanted they could just block off the area from traffic and escort him in through the front.

Therefore, we need to be ready for any possibility.  Speaking of blocking it off, that is what happened in Chandler and we had to be in a certain area.  So they might tell us to be all the way down by the 202, who knows.  There wasn't much for parking.   Last time he came, there were loads of cars.  It appears the only place to park in the area is around the residences.  I will go back today and look for a viable place for many cars.  If we have to, we will try and get a bus service to haul everyone over from a large parking lot.  Will keep you updated on that.

Keep in mind that there will be others reading this.  They will undoubtedly be there early in the morning to stake out the best locations.  So, if you are willing to sit out there as early as 6am for us, please post here so we can make arrangements.
