Mayor and Council

NLC, National League of Cities is Agenda 21 – four of you are involved with NLC, two of which are up for re-election – GOOD LUCK.

National League of Cities as Agenda 21 is un-American and un-Constitutional.

I address my concerns to you as I have received an invitation from Service Line Warranties to purchase a warranty for my water line from the city meter, to the point of connection (POC) into my house. In fact 4 such notices have been received in the past 3 months. With each notice more trees are as the Agenda 21 crowd would say ‘murdered’ or a crime against the environment has been committed, that which shows what hypocrites they are according to their own agenda. In any event, what business is it of the City of Avondale to engage with private enterprise to compel city residence to purchase insurance of any type?

Sounds ridicules doesn’t it?

Watch out what you buy into as a governing body as it will become the one thing you are known for.

In the letter the NLC is referenced as THE credible party – I beg to differ and view the letter as a cleverly designed advertisement by the City of Avondale for a private business SLWA, and more so for promoting NLC to the public. This question will be asked of each of the candidates during this election cycle.

Last time I got involved with Avondale municipal issues was over the directive by Avondale to put trash and recycle receptacles “ON THE SIDE WALK”. Dumbfounded over this, it took about 9 months for the City of Avondale to realize that this directive indeed created a liability for the City of Avondale.

No response is needed or desired, just action by you to de-couple from Agenda 21 and affiliates. Please think about the United States of America and its founding principles, that which I’m a defender of.

McDonald and Weise have impressive resumes on the surface, I’ll be going over the city archives as time allows before engaging.

See you on the campaign trail.

  • We encourage citizen involvement in identifying and reporting code violations. The Code Enforcement Division team is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for the residents of Avondale.
  • Together we can eliminate conditions that contribute to blight and deterioration and have a cleaner, safer, and more desirable place to live

I gave my feedback: My question was "what if we live in a develpment with an HOA?"

The answer from Martha Ortiz, Code Compliance Specialist, " There are also city ordinances/codes residents need to abide by, even thogh the develpment may have an HOA. They may differ. Let me know if you have questions in regards to city ordinances. Thanks for your email and have a great day-MO."

Response, "They don't differ all that much. I think I will take this in another direction. Thank you."

However Avondale does care about what we have to say!
