Veterans for America...

"These are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph." ---Thomas Paine DisgruntledVetTeeAd1
Arizona Disgruntled Veterans is a group of like-minded Veterans and Regular Patriots, banded together to give vets a greater voice in politics thru its Veterans for America: Veteran’s-Voter-Registration-and-Education-Committee; its Recall the Arizona Guard petition; by recruiting honorable men and women to run against corrupt incumbents and committeemen; and thru lobbying current office-holders and protesting the scoundrels among them en masse to protect this country, its Constitution, and its Veterans. Please, check us out & feel free to join! We are all in this together!

Veterans for America is a non-partisan group of like-minded veterans (and those who love us), created to help Rally the Troops. By this we simply mean to register every Veteran in Arizona to vote; get those Veterans informed on all issues and candidates and then to the voting booths on Election Day.

His picture is always on the front page of the "Disgruntled Veteran Rag" Newletter under "Veterans in Distress" as well as a link to the story on Savage's web site... thank you for the new link and the VERY appropriate post... glad you are here!

Kelley asked that all this talk about the Senate Race be kept on the Senate Race Page---Why must you disrespect her by disregarding this request... If you would like to share with us what your candidate has done for Veterans / is doing for Veterans... that would be valuable info, but all these continued non issue related attacks will not be tolerated... Sorry, y'all! Don't make me into a censor---I don't want that role... the veteran issues that we want fixed are too big for petty politics. Don't make me into the bad-guy here... I wanna see a good clean fight---no hitting below the belt!

Personally, I enjoy reading what Vets and non-Vets alike have to say with matters concerning the military and Veteran's issues. Just for the record, I am a Viet Nam combat Vet so you may know from what perspective I,m coming from. I,m not criticizing nor am I exalting anyone's opinion concerning the recent stream of commentary posted on this site. Although I do not agree totally with Bill's analysis of Steve's intentions, I must give Bill's opinion greater weight because after all.....this web site and "Disgruntled Veteran's" is his baby! It's a simple matter of respecting one's "turf" so to speak. I believe he has every right to object when the focus of his efforts is somewhat diverted from it's intended goals. Could Bill have been more "diplomatic" in his response to Steve.......sure! Is Steve a bad guy because his political enthusiasm spilled over into a venue that may not have been appropriate for the site?.....I don't think so! This isn't anything that a good ole beer summit couldn't cure (sorry to bring images of Obama into this):) !

Wow! Let it drop! Go Monopolize the Senate page! Get a life, brother, leave this Vet page to Vets and those who support us...

Once again... this page is for vets and non-vets alike to discuss veteran and troop related issues... Now, you & I have met and up to this point, I have never had anything harsh to say to or about you but... I don't really care what you think about what I said to Steve. Nothing about what I said was "wrong"... a lil harsh, maybe (like Rolda said) but wrong? Not at all... and as if to prove my point You join this group only to put in your 2cents in on THIS issue and then to once again stump for your candidate... who is really being done a genuine disservice by all this frothy-mouthed, fevered campaigning by some of his supporters... y'all worry us "independent"s and "undecided"s and remind us a lil too much of the Obama-lovers and their tactics.

"Let me be clear..." I have nothing against you or Steve or your candidate but please save the constant campaigning for some place other than THIS page... this one page dedicated to veterans and their issues!

Bill I am not a Vet but I too respect the one's who elect to serve. I think you were wrong with what you said to Steve. The 2% candidate, because he was in the Navy does not make him an acceptable candidate to 98% of the voters. Jim's only in this race to help McCain win another 6 year term. He has so much animosity toward JD for getting in the race he is willing to allow that to happen. Jimmy Lee told me he thinks McCain is more conservative than JD, does anybody actually believe that? He would rather see Mccain win than JD. Now you can vote for spite or for the Candidate, J D Hayworth, with the only chance of beating the betrayer, John McCain, of the American People make your choice, but remember a vote for Jimmy is a vote for McCain.
