Arizona AFL-CIO endorses Carmona, Kirkpatrick and Sinema

The Arizona AFL-CIO has endorsed former U.S. Surgeon General Richard Carmona in Arizona's U.S. Senate race.

The labor federation also is backing former U.S. Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick, D-Ariz., in the 1st Congressional District and former state Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Phoenix, in the 9th Congressional District.

The three candidates currently are involved in competitive Democratic primaries.

"Arizona's working families are looking for leadership that can help rebuild our economy," Rebekah Friend, Arizona AFL-CIO's executive director, said in a written statement. "While some politicians would rather point fingers and engage in petty name-calling, these working family candidates are serious about restoring the middle class and keeping our communities safe."

I watched some of the footage of these entitlement oriented young people. It appears that they are becoming more bold as they profess to being here Illegally and absolutely nothing is done about it! I listened as a Phoenix Police spokesman was asked by a reporter if there were going to be any arrests made. The Police representative (in full uniform) timidly stated that the Police were reluctant to act more aggressively because they were "understaffed" and did not wish to instigate any potential "violence" that may ensue! Is this what the state of law enforcement has come to in the City of Phoenix?!! If the police aren't going to do the job they were hired for, what is their purpose and what are we paying them for?!! This kind of weak kneed response by policing agencies who are intimidated by law breakers makes me sick!

The parents. They are never in the discussion. Never does anyone talk about them. That is the main problem with the Dream Act. It does not preclude the kids from sponsoring their parents, and family, etc.

Additionally, the DA does not have a ending date AND, it doesn't state what will happen to kids in the future. You know DAMN well, if the DA was passed, it would be a permanent passport for future children brought into this Country by their illegal alien parents.

Yesterday's demonstration by illegal aliens "anchor babies", simply exposes the depth of the problem! Trevor Browne High School might be a good place for Sheriff Joe to conduct his next sweep, during a PTA meeting. That is, if the parents even care enough to show up! Probably Not!

Three hours for Phx. police to clear one intersection of protesting illegal alien children. If my friends and I were to rally in support of LEGAL immigration, no police would be needed. We wouldn't break the law and stop traffic......but hey, the illegal children have great role models - their parents who also like breaking our laws. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. NO DREAM ACT! NO AMNESTY!

I've read some of the garbage that this Lou character regurgitates. His "Show" is all about hating America and doing whatever he can to undermine this country. It's curious as to why he would call you, but I imagine that it is some sort of contrived BS to perhaps get you to spread some false information that would ultimately benefit their side somehow. I wouldn't cut this guy off completely as there is always information to be gained even if someone lies directly to your face. I would proceed very cautiously knowing that you are almost assuredly being mislead and take whatever this dope has to say with a grain of sand, Art!

Thank you all who came out to support Sabrina Morrison (rape victim) on Monday and Wednesday and ask the Board of Supervisors to act now to hold Sheriff Arpaio accountable. As usual they refused to do anything. Even worse, Supervisor Kunasek was more concerned about donations going for animals than donations going to victims of sex crimes. When asked if he regretted his decision to not put uninvestigated sex crimes on the agenda when he was Chairman of the Board in 2008 he refused to respond.

This is a letter I wrote to Lake County, FL Democrats in their shamefully displayed American Flag with the Pic of Imam Obama desecrating it!http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=z2fPt2YTi_o

I am a Vietnam Veteran, a member of Vietnam Veterans of America and Disabled American Veterans. Recently, I had viewed a photo of the desecration of an American flag. The design of which had allegedly been created and displayed by your organization! In substitution of where the stars are traditionally located, an image of President Obama stood. While we hold the office of the presidency in the highest regard, it is improper and disrespectful to alter the original design of the American flag regardless of intent. Perhaps you are unaware that any alteration to our national symbol is considered by most Veterans to be disrespectful. By politicizing the flag, you are mocking it! Too many have died in preserving the history and honor of our national symbol. Your cooperation in displaying a proper flag would be very much appreciated!
