I haven't seen any other posts on the site as to whether we can get the TEA Party members to attend the rally. We now have the Sons of Liberty Riders, and the Riders USA showing as well as other Vets in the state!

Come on folks, lets get the TPs moving, motivated, and attending this wonderful event. Nov 11th at Noon Arizona State Capital! This is our chance to let our legislators know how we feel about some VERY important issues!

Does anyone want to get a few folks together to speak on issues! I can get Casey Nethercott to speak about his personal sacrifice for freedom and our border integrity! He is the guy who the DOJ and the SPLC stole his property from him, illegally and Un-Constitutionally a few years back here in AZ!

Anybody want to hear his story? Let me know!

Here is a flyer idea. I am not a great graphics person, but maybe it is a start! It is a word doc as an attachment.

BTW, has anyone heard of an illegal roadblock yesterday in Scottsdale at the 101 and the 60. Stopping commercial traffic and citing anyone who has a private vehicle being used for commercial purposes, and other violations? They used motorcycles as chase vehicles if you did not pull over!

BTW, who do they think they are?????

Hi All!

I have been giving a lot of thought to the idea of the Veteran's march on DC on 11/11/11; and for those who can't afford to go we could show a lot of support for their efforts by holding a rally at the State Capitol at noon on that day!

We could show support for their efforts, and send a clear message to our legislature concerning the Unconstitutional National Popular Vote scandal that is being foisted on the people of this country! The left, as funded by George Soros, is attempting to eliminate the Constitutionally-mandated Electoral College, so they can move the US from a Constitutional Republic to a Democracy without going through Congress, or a Constitutional Convention!

We need to let our Legislators know that this is unacceptable, and if they pull this BS, they will be removed from office by force, if necessary!

Is anyone interested in doing this? Please let me know! Let's get a bunch of folks down there.

In the Spirit of Liberty,

Is anyone going to join Dave & I for the 4-40 for Freedom motorcade & rally this afternoon / evening.  I don't know all the info about this plan, but I like the idea, so I am going down to hear the speakers to get more information.  Speakers start at 4:40 PM at Wesley Bolin Plaza - if you want to join us there to get the information.  JA

I am recently starting to get active in my area. Where is your next meeting, and when?

Thanks, and look forward to meeting everyone involved!

What do you get?

Ask yourself this question as you read this: "What do I get?"

A first-year city of Phoenix clerk gets 40 and a half days off, including vacation, holidays and sick time. That's two months off -- and an afternoon -- in the first year of employment. And the days off keep going up as the years go by.  (Read an Ahwatukee Foothills News article regarding compensationHERE.)

If employees don't use all their time off, they get to cash in the remaining days like casino chips, and guess who the bank is? You and your family.

You have heard me talk about Phoenix's high cost of labor at $100,000 a year per employee. That's just a part of the picture. It doesn't account for back-filling all that time off.

To compensate for days when employees are out, you must either hire more people, pay more in overtime or reduce services to the public.   You now can see why your taxes have gone up, services for seniors and children get cut and why you are getting less and paying more for the same service.

This can all change. There is hope on the horizon.

As you may know, I have been working with state leaders on Senate Bill 1322, which will change the culture here at City Hall.  The bill will require Phoenix (and Tucson) to be more efficient, look for more strategic ways to deliver service and be more competitive.  It pulls private sector knowlege and practices into city government. SB1322 passed the Senate on Monday and is headed for the House.  For an updated copy of the bill, click HERE.

I cannot get the city hall reforms needed without your help.  I need you to write, email, call or fax the Representatives below and ask for their support on SB1322.

I made a commitment to you that I work for you and only you.  I don't represent the civilian labor groups that walk our halls, and I don't represent the management that wants more from your family.  I represent you.

At times that puts me in a difficult situation because I enjoy and respect the people I work with.  But, you are not their first interest.  Staff's first interest is to protect their way of life. Our goal is to  build a city government that puts taxpayers first and protects your way of life.

Phoenix is a fantastic city and a place we all love. Help me help you stop this insanity, and let's get this great city back on the right track and back to work again.

The next NWValley TEA Party meeting will be Tuesday, March 22 from 6:30-8pm at the Royal Cafe, located at 10793 W. Grand Avenue, Sun City.  Meeting starts at 6:30pm but feel free to arrive earlier to have dinner.

Our guest speaker will be Robert S. Graham who is the author of a controversial new book titled "Job Killers" which takes on the unions and calls for their complete eradication.  Here's an article that was written by CNBC about Mr. Graham and his new book:

Robert S. Graham is President and CEO of RG Capital, a successful financial advisory, investment banking/consulting and corporate development business in Scottsdale, Arizona. He has also profitably managed three operating companies and three venture start-ups. For the second year in a row, Graham will be a featured speaker at the American Legislative Exchange Council's States & Nations Policy Summit. Graham also travels the country speaking at political functions, business schools and think tanks. Speaking topics include taxation, innovation, entrepreneurialism, globalization, wealth accumulation, capital markets, tax efficiencies, legacy planning, asset protection and business/practice succession. Graham has been regionally recognized by AZ Business Magazine as one of the Top Entrepreneurs and nationally by Boomer Market Advisor magazine as the 2007 Advisor of the Year.

Hi Everybody! Just joined.

I want to get the word out about a very momentous event occuring in AZ as we speak! Back in 2007 then Sen Jack Harper got a bill passed which was vetoed by Gov Napolitano, bless her fascist black heart! This bill created a Citizen's Homeland Security Force to assist in protecting our border.

Well, the bill is back, and it is going to pass this time, too! However, Gov Brewer has said she will sign it this time! It is HB 2070!

So, with that in mind a group of us have formed a legal AZ limited liability company called the Arizona State Guard, LLC, and we intend to participate in Rep Harper's program. We have been training for 12 weeks now, by meeting Thurs nites for classroom training, and on the weekends! We meet Saturdays or Sundays on alternating weekends to train, and when the time is right we will be ready to assist in helping to secure our borders and interdicing the flow of drugs into our state!

I write this post, because I believe that there are folks in the TEA Party movement who believe that our state and nation should have secure borders, that the flow of drugs into AZ must be dealt with, and that there are those in the desert who have need of humanitarian aid in terms of food, water, and medical attention! I also believe that there are those who would want to participate in a program such as this. Great conditioning, scenic views, awesome comraderie, and a noble cause...this is what the Arizona State Guard stands for!

There are a great many positions to be filled. Although there are the patrolling type of positions, there are a great many more which are of a supportive nature, such as logistics, mechanical, food service, communications, and a great many more! All ages are welcome, and (just so you know) THIS IS NOT THE ARMY! This is entirely a volunteer force!

I invite any patriotic American to consider how they might participate with us as we take back our State, and protect its citizens and property from illegal incursions. We have lost about 80 miles, and it is time to get it back, or that number will go higher!

Please call me at: (602) 290-4784 with any questions you may have.

AZRanger, Cpl-AZG
