I know this is short notice, but I wanted to let you know that the City of Goodyear is having a meeting on Wednesday, March 23 to discuss Goodyear’s 2011-2012 budget. The meeting is from 6pm to 8pm at the City Hall (190 N Litchfield Road, Room 117).
The description follows:
The public is invited to attend this Public Budget Forum where Goodyear City officials would like to have the public’s input on the budget as it is being prepared. The final budget will be presented to the City Council for tentative approval this spring. A short presentation will include explanations of the budget process, forecasted revenues and operating expenditures and more. There will also be small round tables set up for discussion addressing various budget topics.
The regular city council meeting is on March 28 starting at 6pm at the Goodyear Justice Center at Venida (185 N 145th Avenue).
I hope you will attend. As a Tea Party Patriot this is an opportunity to make a difference close to home.
