Ron Ludders and passengers safe and sound!

Don't know if anyone else has posted but please spread the word.

They were delayed by repairs needed for Ron's house in Rocky Point and called to leave a message with folks here in town. Due to vagaries between Mexican and U.S. telephone systems, the voice-mails never were actually recorded.

I spoke to Ron this morning - he was leaving at about Noon for the U.S. Border and will be home early evening.

Thanks to all for…

Won't change the star. Not only will red white and blue stars and stripes junk up the design & color scheme, but also it would disrespect the Arizona flag.

I hate to ask again, but is there any way we can use the shape of this tea pot, and then add stars/stripes inside the big star?

Thanks!!!!
Kelly

Oh, I've got an idea. I love the big star, what if it was stars/stripes within it (not the whole flag, but in part).

How much do I owe you for the artwork?

Thanks,
Kelly

"I showed it to several folks last night and they all liked the concept. I'll tell you some of the comments. The first person didn't recognize the phoenix, they thought it was an islamic symbol, lol."

I'm tempted to write something snarky about projected paranoia and ignorance of classic mythology but...

"Also, a few people asked where was the American flag, but others said that would somehow clutter it. "

Your request was for the Arizona flag. I complied.

"One person suggested a tea bag string hanging out with a flag for the little paper, however that is for a tea cup, not a pot. "

Actually, I had considered it but discarded the idea; text on a small tag would be illegible and a symbol would clutter the design.

"Another thing that a lot of folks said was that there were a lot of spikes on the tail, to maybe bulk it up a little. "

They are welcome to submit their artwork.

"Other than that, it looks fantastic. Oh, maybe the handle can be more foofie like curved like a half-heart and then curl back out?"

I'll do another handle for ya.

"Sorry so picky, but you got my creative juices goin... :o) "
