My suggestion is that the Tea Party form their own political party. The Republicans and Democrats don't want to have anything to do with us. I know third parties haven't done well in the past, but with more and more people unhappy with both major parties, there just might be a change to get a few people elected.

So, the Republican's, Democrats and Libertarians have gone through the mud as well right? Why haven't they changed their name? Anyone big enough to gain national press is subject to mud slinging.

I think we should keep "Tea Party".  They try to drag us through the mud but, there are more of us than them.  We just need to be stronger.  Changing the name would show weakness on our part.

The name change is a temporary band-aid. Our next name would be handled the same. There is nothing wrong with our name. We just need to stick to our principles. Tea-partiers had troubles when they took on too much. They were popular and powerful with a singular, clear and powerful principal message.

Suggested that over two years ago, leave the Tea Party to the Republicans and move on. Republicans want to define it - let them.
