Barack Obama's sharp attack March 30 on the Constitutional powers of the Supreme Court — the second such attack of his Presidency — drew a fast and forceful challenge from the Federal judiciary on April 3. Obama should be impeached on the charge of violating and denying the separation of powers, not only against the Congress over his wars, but also against the Supreme Court over Obamacare.
Obama vaunted on March 30 that the "unelected judges" of the Supreme Court had better not touch the Obamacare law, which in his cloudy recollection had been passed by "substantial majorities of both Houses of Congress," and to strike any part of which would be "judicial activism", he claimed. And yesterday the 5th Circuit Federal Court of Appeals, covering Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi, demanded that Obama, through the Justice Department, explain his attack on the courts.
