Hey All.. I need some help (or I should say that my brother does).. Here is the problem.. He lost his driving licence in the state of North Carolina back in 1996 for of all things nothing more than speeding tickets and no insurance (these were back when he was under the age of 25)... WE have been trying for the last 4 years to get his licence restored so that he can become a legal law abiding citzen here in Arizona where we have lived since 2000.. We have paid the fines (in both states)..…

New Redistricting??

Does anyone have information about redistricting and where the new Congressional seat will be?

How long does the state have to go without representation by Congresswoman Giffords before they replace her?

The GPTPP awaits a response from our president

As I posted yesterday Kelly Townsend started the GPTPP with the concepts of transparency and non-partisanship but our current leadership feels she is beyond reproach and doesn’t need to explain her actions to the membership.  Sweeping this matter under the rug in front of this membership does not make the situation or our questions go away, it only shines an Obama like cast over her, for that is how he reacts to the American people: with silence and arrogance.

Kelly is right;…

The Seventeenth Amendment to the US Constitution

I'm not really sure where to post this, but it needs to be discussed. I've already posted it on the East Valley Tea Party site.

Many of our problems can be traced to the ratification of this Amendment. Is it time ti repeal it? And, if so, can we do it?

In the middle of the Seventeenth Century, (1650, to be exact) a gentleman by the name of Cecil Calvert was living in London, England. He was a Roman Catholic, Irish, Royalist living in a time of rampant…

My response to Lynne Breyer's statement to the GPTPP:

I was at the last Board of Director’s meeting and nothing was mentioned about Kelly Townsend.  As to negotiations with Kelly being done quietly, anything that concerns any portion of the Greater Phoenix Tea Party Patriots concerns each and every member of the group.  As a member of the GPTPP and Board member, I have not heard about anything.  There is no matter, big or small, that should be kept secret from the entire membership unless there is something to hide by one member or another. …

I think that it is such a shame that the GPTPP has gone from UNITED to such disaray.  Please tell me why?  Why is it that whenever someone becomes active there is always a power play or power struggle...  I don't get it nor do I like it.. Where has the coheiveness of the GPTPP gone?  We are acting just like the people who we want to unseat in this country.  I am ashamed and apalled to here that this is happening within the ranks of the GPTPP.  I have witnessed groups disbanding and now the…

FDR on Public Unions

In 1937 in a letter to a union head FDR wrote:

For example, although he had a lock on labor's vote, he expressed caution about public sector unions. In a little-known letter he wrote to the president of the National Federation of Federal Employees in 1937, Roosevelt reasoned:

"... Meticulous attention should be paid to the special relationships and obligations of public servants to the public itself and to the government. All Government employees should realize that the…

One solution to water hikes, tax increases and general government corruption.

For years we all have been watching our government forever misspend our money then turn to us and say "we need more of your money if this government is to continue running and 'serving' you." It's a lie and we all know it. Juxtaposed with this lie is the comment, voiced loudest by Gingrich in his "contract with America", (another deception of decent Americans), if you don't like what they do, then "vote them out." Pure snake oil. We currently have no means by which we are allowed to "vote…

Quote from James Madison:

I believe there are more instances of the abridgement of freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments by those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations.

Phoenix Water Rate Increase: Sal DiCiccio cooling his jets.

In reference to Councilman Sal DiCiccio’s latest email as copied below: January 18, 2011.

Claude Mattox is saying the January 19 vote on the proposed water rate increase is premature, needs more review. I have heard, nor read nothing of the like from DiCiccio or Gates to date, have you?

Mattox’s comment is indeed a more thoughtful and reasonable approach. One I agree with rather then DiCiccio attempting to evoke emotions without careful consideration, that which DiCiccio…

"I had a dream"

Yesterday, I had a discussion with my mom, who still lives abroad, about free speech in America.Than I realized, what free speech? I finally came to terms that I can only speak freely about my opinions, religious and political affiliations when I am among those that share the same views. My mom opened my eyes to the truth. She was able to see things as an American and as an outsider and the conclusion was that there is no more freedom of speech in America. It is gone, kaput. I am constantly…

It's not too soon to be thinking about the City of Phoenix mayoral election.  The election will be held on August 30, 2011.

Uber liberal Mayor Phil "Flash" Gordon has been a national embarrassment to the residents of Phoenix. He has established tax-supported "day labor" centers for illegal aliens, made Phoenix a "sanctuary city", been an outspoken opponent of SB1070, made outlandish accusations against Sheriff Arpaio, and groveled before Washington…

Phoenix water rate hike: Sal DiCiccio and THE CRISIS MYTH

Let’s look at credibility in light of misinformation concerning issues as presentated: review below (January 14, 2011)..

DiCiccio’s persistence is appreciate, and somewhat on the right track. But it would be advisable to include Police & Fire in any avenue that is chosen to reduce the burden on taxpayers. After all they represent 60% plus of the City of Phoenix’s total budget. Sal DiCiccio, Leonard Gilroy, OUTSOURCING… Continue
